Just moved to the area and I was wondering if anyone knew of any clubs in the area? I am mainly into older stuff, but also looking for people near here that have a similar interest. later on this year, I will be in search of a place to wrench/ work on small projects on my off time as well. I am in Shelby Township!

It’s not really a “club” but you can join the WOODWARD facebook group. its a bunch of people arguing about cars. but it is a place for local car people.

I believe there are quite a few Oppos in the area; I’m over in Auburn Hills, myself.
Can’t help you with the club search, though.

The woodward FB page is hilariously bad, like dogapult said. Theres a cars and coffee at Pasteiners every weekend when its nice and its full of pretty old cars. K roll has logged it a few times.
Also I apologize for shelby township.

I’m not in any local clubs. I try to attend at least a couple of events per year, though.

Welcome to the area. I’m in Sterling Heights. So a little south of you. Don’t have any info on car clubs, but I wrench with a church group that’s affiliated with Kensington community church in Troy. Good group of guys. Quite a few gents with nice older cars and some newer stuff as well.

The only one i can think of offhand is the Jurassic Park Motor Pool has a chapter but if you’re not into that cruising Woodward when it gets warm out on a Saturday night will probably lead you to parking lots filled with various groups or types of cars. You might be able to just stop and ask around like car guys did in ye olde pre-interweb days.
